Welcome to Bilingual Kids!

We are a privately run organization with a community heart. Our unique teaching method, the Reggio Emilia Approach, has been specifically adapted to cater for the needs and rights of the bilingual child in Japan.

Brief Introduction

• Full day preschool 9:00 - 14:00, for children aged 18 months to 6 yrs
• 2, 3, 4 or 5 day week options, very reasonable tuition
• Reggio Emilia Approach: Highly creative, child-originated curriculum focusing on the whole child and their ability to self express
• Standard kindergarten practices (all areas) are built upon, expanded, and refined. Extensive documentation of each child's daily experiences is used to determine the children's current interests. Projects are then initiated and structured into a progressive curriculum
• Outdoor educational component focuses on nature studies and physical skills
• After school English support class for children attending a Japanese kindergarten (ages 3-6) Also classes for older primary school children ( Includes in-depth conversation, reading and writing )
• 10 minute walk from Musashi sakai Station (JR Chuo line), short term parking available for drop off and pick up
