Adopting and Adapting
As a parent, knowing what's best for your child can be difficult and raising children can be hard work,
this often blinds us as to their true capabilities.
We need to see our children in new and different ways and
this requires a new way of thinking.
We know you love your children, and your peace of mind is most important to us.
At Bilingual Kids we give your child the freedom to grow and have adopted aspects of a new,
proven teaching approach that is becoming increasingly popular through out America, Australia and Europe: The Reggio Emilia Approach.
What sets us apart from other schools? Originating in Italy this method has recently become fully recognized and
is now recommended by many of the world's leading experts in childcare. The Reggio Emilia Approach is seen as "World's best practice" (Newsweek 1991). While
Bilingual Kids International is the first preschool in Tokyo to most fully adopt this approach we feel it important to stress that rather than directly transplant the approach into an English / Japanese bilingual setting, we are progressing our own way through our own "In house" research, just as the educators in Reggio Emilia would most likely want us to do.
As compared to a stagnant, predetermined system of education such flexibility allows us to more fully cater to the rights and changing needs of your child.
